We’re making the switch to Karbon this month, and while we’re excited about the benefits, we also know that change can take a little getting used to. Here’s what you need to know as we roll it out across the practice.

We’re learning too

We’ve been working behind the scenes to get everything set up — migrating our workflows, training the team and preparing to go live. But like any change, there may be a few bumps along the way.

We really appreciate your patience and support while we bed in the new system.

What’s changing for you?

You’ll see “Client Requests”

Instead of asking for documents by email, we’ll send you a Client Request — a checklist of the things we need from you. You can complete it in the Karbon portal, upload files, and reply directly in one place.

We’ll encourage portal use

If you haven’t already, you’ll be invited to log in to the Karbon portal. It’s quick to set up and will be our preferred place for securely sharing sensitive documents and correspondence.

You can still talk to us the usual way

Emails, phone calls, Zoom — we’re still here as usual. Karbon just adds another (better) option for managing the admin side of things.

Your to-do list

Nothing urgent, but here’s how you can help:

  • Look out for your Karbon invitation – we’ll be sending these out soon if you have not received it already.
  • Give the portal a try – it’s simple to use and saves time. It’s a good idea to bookmark the portal here.
  • Reach out if you’re unsure – we’re happy to help you get started, contact us here. You can also read more about Karbon for clients here.

We’re always looking for ways to make your accounting experience smoother and more efficient. This move to Karbon is designed with you in mind – to reduce the time you spend on admin, make it easier to share information, and give you greater confidence that everything’s on track from a compliance perspective.
